Dan Hannans Still Dreaming!

Bless him! He really does believe his party has the bottle to refuse the EU!

Truth is, he's been conned along with the rest of the Conservative Voters.

"What does the coalition mean for the Conservatives? It suggests that Cameron has used the LibDems to neuter his party's right wing and to cauterize the wound. Who cares about the Tories: What does it mean for Britain?

Britain is now governed by two centre-left parties, with another of the same shade regrouping and preparing for a spell in opposition. Under either Tweedledum or Tweedledee Miliband, Labour's policies are likely to be identical to the Conservative-LibDems.

Our political class - a narrow enough group - can't possibly be said to represent the British people. Both LibDems and Labour believed they had enough in common to form a "Progressive Alliance" - until the Conservatives tore up their manifesto so they, too, could be a perfect match for Nick Clegg's party.

Britain no longer has an opposition. Does anyone seriously believe that if David Cameron were to extend his invitation to others in the Labour tribe, they would find it difficult to fit in with his government?

Who, then, will hold the "Change Coalition" to account? Who represents the people?"

A great piece by Eursoc

The Coalition

No, I'm not happy. As a "grass roots" Conservative I feel betrayed. We are heading into left of centre politics and I am disgruntled.

It's time for UKIP to capture the fallout. There will be plenty of right wing Tories in the coming months willing to join UKIP and make it the only right of centre party in the UK.

All we need now is for the Conservatives to go back on their word on the EU and we are well and truly fucked.

Death of a Democracy.

Witterings from Witney, speaks for all those who remember that Britain was once Great Britain.

I dare you to read his post and not shed a tear.

Another excellent piece can be read here "The Ethnic Cleansing of the English" by Paul Weston of UKIP.

A West which has not yet understood that whites, in a world become too small for its inhabitants, are now a minority and that the proliferation of other races dooms our race, my race, irretrievably to extinction in the century to come, if we hold fast to our present moral principles”

— Jean Raspail, 1982, The Camp Of The Saints

Quote of the Day

When asked whom he would vote for, Ray Winstone says "I don't like any of them – they are all liars," the star of Sexy Beast said at the private viewing of paintings by Mitch Griffiths at the Halcyon Gallery in Mayfair. "There should be a box on the ballot form that says 'abstain'. I would put a cross in that one."

Nigel in Hot Water

Poor old Nigel (my hero), He´s likely to face several disciplinaries after his outburst insulting Rompey Pompey and the rest of the delegates in Brussels. Truth hurts doesn´t it, you bunch of communists?

There are several things that they can do to him now, says the Brussels Journal.

It would be nice if the British People would support him in this. I know petitions are usually a waste of time but, the EU do have one that people can use.

Perhaps we should test EU Democracy......

DON'T FORGET, VOTE UKIP TO GET THE REFERENDUM WE WERE CHEATED OUT OF!

Monday, 15 February 2010

Yawn!

Sky has a couple of the Conservatives new campaign posters on its site today.. oh dear, what utter bullshit...... I'm still unclear about their policies. Of course, these new adverts are going to get the usual amendments. Here's mine.

European Snouts in the Trough

GREEDY WEIRD BELGIAN DUDE!

Meanwhile, the EU is showing itself in it's true colours. They are demonstrating their lack of understanding of ordinary people and the common financial situation we are all finding ourselves in, for a new European Champagne Socialist way of life!

Mr Van Rompuy (you remember, he's a just chairperson, we have been assured and has no actual power) and Jose Manuel Barroso are furious at some member states who want to stop the 40,000 strong eurocrats getting a 3.7% increase in their salaries. The EU President could end up earning more than the US States President Barack Obamarama!

That's funny, I thought the EU was a democracy and if the majority have said "NO", then that means "NO"...?

Mats Persson, of think-tank Open Europe, said: “This is self-serving politicians and bureaucrats at their worst. And they wonder why people don’t like the EU.”

No shit Sherlock....

They really just don't get it, do they? We don't want them at all!!!!

WE WANT OUR REFERENDUM!

Just a quickie for now....

The quicker we leave the EU, the better!

This is worrying but I have ceased to believe that everything can be put down to conspiracy theories and tend to look at things with alot more suspicion in these dark days of non-democracy.

Anyone heard of the "Euro-Med Partnership?"

"The goal of the Euro-Mediterranean cooperation is to create a new Greater European Union encompassing both Europe and North Africa, with the Mediterranean Sea becoming a domestic Eurabian sea. The goal is to establish a "comprehensive political partnership," including a "free trade area and economic integration"; "considerably more money for the partners" (that is, more European money flowing into North Africa); and "cultural partnership" - that is, importation of Islamic culture into post-Christian Europe.

According to the SIOE, in the Euro-Med plan "Europe is to be islamized. Democracy, Christianity, European culture and Europeans are to be driven out of Europe. Fifty million North Africans from Muslim countries are to be imported into the EU."

The EU's accountants – the European Court of Auditors (ECA) – have refused to give the EU’s accounts a clean bill of health for the 15th year in a row, owing to fraud and mismanagement in the budget. Betrayed!

We are no longer a sovereign state. We have lost our identity and been swallowed whole against our will into a federalist, socialist regime.

I have been betrayed by a political party I have supported since I was old enough to vote.

I will therefore, after a lifetime of voting Conservative, vote UKIP for the first time.

In the unlikely event you don't subscribe to the most excellent Raedwald... look here

We're such lucky bastards!

This piece highlights the key changes the Lisbon Treaty brings to the only elected (by whom?) European institution - the European Parliament. Here are the top 5 critical changes

1. New EP: better equipped for today's challenges

The Lisbon Treaty improves the ability of the EU and its Parliament to act and deliver. At a time when both Europe and the rest of the world are faced with new challenges like globalisation, demographic shifts, climate change (that old chestnut still in the bag then?), energy security and terrorism, no single state can effectively deal with them alone (you think we need you?). Only by working together, in a more efficient, accountable, transparent (accountable and transparent, they haven't produced accounts for 12 years!!!!) and coherent way and speaking with one voice, can Europe respond to its citizens' concerns (can we have a referendum please, no I didn't think so).. The reform treaty makes your Parliament better equipped for today's and tomorrow's challenges - in a growing EU. Further, with Lisbon, your Parliament will also enjoy a new right to propose future treaty changes (bollocks to that)

2. New EP: more powers in shaping Europe

With the Lisbon Treaty, the European Parliament will have more power in shaping Europe than ever before. With its full legislative power extending to over 40 new fields (what a nightmare), Parliament becomes a truly equal lawmaker with the Council of Ministers, representing member states governments. Agriculture, energy security, legal immigration, justice and home affairs, public health and structural funds are just a few of the areas where Parliament acquires full authority. Its decisions will have an ever stronger impact on your everyday life (just fuck off please)

3. New EP: tighter hold on EU's purse strings

From now on, the Parliament will decide on the entire EU budget together with the Council of Ministers. Until now, it did not have the final word on "compulsory expenditure" (around 45% of the EU budget) such as spending relating to agriculture or international agreements. This changes as the Parliament becomes responsible for the entire EU budget, together with EU governments. Your Parliament will not only have a decisive say on overall spending priorities, but will also have a tighter hold on the EU's purse strings (no say for the poor fucking bastards paying for all this with their taxes then, I thought not).

4. New EP: greater say on who runs the EU (err where's democracy?)

In the Lisbon era, the Parliament will not only decide what is done and how money is spent, it will also have a greater say on which men and women run the EU (WELL, IT FUCKING SHOULDN'T, THAT IS NOT DEMOCRATIC). The Parliament will elect the President of the European Commission, on the basis of the EU heads of state and government's pre-selection, which must take into account the results of European elections - and your choice. Also, Parliament's consent (WHAT ABOUT OUR FUCKING CONSENT) is needed in the appointment of the EU's new voice in the world and foreign policy chief, the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, who will also be a Commission Vice-President.

5. New EP: stronger voice for Europe's citizens

New power means more responsibility. As the only directly-elected EU institution, the Parliament will have new tools to give a stronger voice to the 500 million citizens it represents and to hold the EU accountable to them. The Parliament will be the guardian of EU citizens' new catalogue of civil, political, economic and social rights - the Charter of Fundamental Rights - embedded in the Lisbon Treaty, as well as their new right of citizens' initiative, which will allow people to call for new policy proposals if supported by 1 million signatures. Also, it will safeguard national parliaments' right to object to European level legislative proposals should they consider them to concern matters better dealt with at national level.

They're not even pretending to be democratic FFS!!!!!

Land of Hope and Glory

Captain Rantys post today really depressed me earlier. It's entitled "Theft Report". Capt Ranty adds "This actually falls under pre-crime, because the theft will not take place until 00:01 hours, Tuesday 1st December 2009".... read it in disbelief!

I suppose the weather is not helping. Its miserable (note climate fraudsters, cold and not hotter than normal, but bloody cold) and raining here in the Costa del Sol and I am moving on Wednesday for the 6th time since relocating to Spain. It all feels kind of final... but the flat I'm moving to is much better and cheaper than the one I have now and business is brisk!

The EU is going to implode in the not too distant future as they all become quite megalomaniacal with the power they have stolen from us. I've noticed the contempt and dissent even here in Spain, especially from expatriots who have escaped their homelands to seek a freerer lifestyle here in the Costas.

And just to remind you all, we are British and Proud to be British.....we will fight this, we have fought for our freedoms for a thousand years, we won the last time a few hundred years ago, we will win again!

Please join the Albion Alliance. It is a NON POLITICAL GROUP of normal, decent, human beings that just want their democratic voice returned!

EU Socialist Crap is Beginning!

"Today, the EU Council decided that 2011 will be designated the "European Year of Volunteering". The organisation of the Year had been proposed by the European Commission and received a positive opinion by the European Parliament.

Welcoming the Council's decision, Mr Maroš Šefčovič, the Commissioner for Education, Training, Culture and Youth, said: ''Volunteering is a way for individuals to make a valuable contribution to society. At the EU level, volunteering promotes civic participation, social cohesion and provides learning opportunities for the volunteers as well as a multitude of benefits for society at large. I am pleased that our idea to have a European Year dedicated to promoting volunteering activities received such solid support from the European Parliament and the Council of Ministers."

And how much is this costing us?

The European Year of Voluntary Activities Promoting Active Citizenship is widely supported by civil society and the European Parliament and is envisaged as a bottom-up campaign, in which civil society will play a large role.

The European Parliament has approved EU funding for the Year, as follows: € 3 million for preparatory actions in 2010, and € 8 million during the Year itself.

€ 11 for advertising and a goodly layer of jobsworth civil service jobs.. all to get some free labour from the slaves? FFS

I don't even want to discuss Michel Barnier and the slow death of the financial centre of London!

Quote nicked form David Vance "Let me tell you something. The EU is way beyond ANY prospect of reform. It is a corrupt anti-democratic malignancy that is reducing Nation States to parochail sub-offices. The unelected Eurocrats, like Ashton, personify just how grotesque it all is. We should get OUT of it".

Albion Alliance Hacked!

We've obviously got someone peeved enough to hack the site :) but to make sure the message doesn't get completely forgotten, I'm reposting it's mission statement here too.

The key policy statement that the economy must be tackled first and that a referendum be discussed only 18 months after the general election, is fundamentally wrong and unacceptable.

Instead:

1. There must be a referendum on EU membership within one year of a new parliament, including the option of total withdrawal or a trading agreement, in order to “clear the decks”;

2. Given a No vote, then all laws inimical to Britain, both EU and homegrown need to be reviewed and repealed and a fundamental overhaul of all sectors of society needs to be undertaken.

Many of our political leaders are ignoring and even blocking this. The response that it would be electoral suicide to offer the people a voice just doesn’t hold water. It would be suicide not to do so because opinion polls say that we want it. Albion Alliance is also contacting all candidates for the next general election and asking them to commit to this principle:

I pledge to work tirelessly to give the voters of my constituency a democratic and direct voice in the United Kingdom’s continued relationship with the EU, to support any motion for a referendum on that continued relationship, and to vote positively for any Private Members Bill that may call for such a referendum, written in clear concise terms, irrespective of Party Whip and to promote the same, with a view to the successful outcome of this pledge within one year of a new Parliament or sooner.

We are publishing all responses when received – yea or nay – and preparing lists of which candidates said what, to be publicized around the UK prior to the general election.

The people want their voices heard. You can help us by signing at:
