Priceless!

Why are we funding abortions for Polish women on the NHS?

Made in the style of a Mastercard advert, the flyers and posters feature a woman in her underwear with the words 'my choice' daubed on her stomach in English.

It reads:

'Plane ticket to England at special offer - 300 zloty (£70).

'Accommodation - 240 zloty (£56). Abortion in a public clinic - 0 zloty.' COURTESY OF YOU THE TAXPAYER!

It adds: 'Relief after a procedure carried out in decent conditions - priceless'.

I was only wondering as we didn't seem to have enough money to save 20,000 people dying of cancer last year because NICE say the drugs are too expensive!

Infact:

Tackling inequality £21 million (failed schemes that obviously don't cover the rights of those with cancer!)

10,000 Polish (and thats only Poland) Women travel to UK to get free abortions £5 - £10 million

Benefits for FAILED ASYLUM SEEKERS £73 million

Consultants from outside the NHS £487 million in 5 years.

20,000 patients needlessly suffering and dying (most of whom are elderly and have paid into the system all their lives).

Mother facing prosecution 'for asking for ethnic hospital staff to be removed from birthing room'

This is a very interesting story:.

A mother is facing prosecution under race discrimination laws after objecting to hospital staff from a specific ethnic minority group being present at the birth of her child.

The woman was in the delivery room at the maternity unit and about to undergo a caesarian section when she made her demand.

It was not clear whether she was referring to black employees, those of Asian origin, or any other race at Milton Keynes Hospital in Buckinghamshire.

Now, admittedly, if it were me. I would just want the best that the hospital had to offer but in this case, whose human rights come first?

The woman giving birth, who is after all "the customer" or the staffs?

Finally, what would happen in a similar situation if a Muslim woman didn't want a male present and wanted to be attended to only by women (which incidentally was something I was offered 25 years ago).

You see, you take things too far and someone will always think their rights are more important than someone elses!

CAN YOU IDENTIFY IT?

A patient has become so disgusted with hospital food he has taken to posting pictures of meals on the internet - asking people to guess what the dishes are supposed to be.

The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, has been stuck in hospital since February after being struck down with a rare bone infection and is currently in traction.

Faced with extreme boredom, he launched a blog under the pseudonym 'Traction Man' to post his thoughts about the NHS and especially the food.

After suffering months of unbearable food at 'Blogtown General Hospital' he came up with the idea of posting photos of the cuisine online for his friends to identify.

I love it!!!!!

Yup! Our NHS is a pure treasure!

Two stories, both in the Daily Mail, but it puts into perspective how "simply fabulous" our NHS is!

A young mother gave birth on a pavement outside a hospital after she was told to make her own way there.
Mother-of-three Carmen Blake called her midwife to ask for an ambulance when she went into labour unexpectedly with her fourth child. But the 27-year-old claims she was refused an ambulance and told to walk the 100m from her house in Leicester to the city's nearby Royal Infirmary.

Tony and wife Rebecca, 33, were staying in Wilmslow, Cheshire, when she started having contractions.
They rushed to St Mary's Hospital in Manchester, but Rebecca was told she wasn't ready, despite being 38 weeks into the pregnancy. The couple, of Newbury, Berkshire, went back to the house - but three hours later, Rebecca was doubled up in pain on the bathroom floor.Tony said he called the hospital to ask what to do and could not get any response.

The NHS Sucks!

I have interrupted my work to say that I think the NHS is crap. It started out as a great idea, as a social fund that everyone paid into and when they needed health care, they got it. It has become a dangerous monster and it should be completely reformed. There are more people using it now, than have paid into it, which is not great for obvious reasons! If we could have opted "out" , I would have ages ago and paid into private medical care instead. I just couldn't afford both!

Not only that, but it is the NHS cronies that are constantly preaching to us about what we breathe, eat and drink. The NHS is completely out control and has become part of the government which it shouldn't be!

What is this? Just because the Americans have slagged it down, it's now the bees knees? What bollocks! You have more chance of staying alive if you stay out of hospital, than if you go in to some of them. They're death camps.

Just do not ever assume that whatever "civilised" country you are in, people will leave you die, they don't!!!

Don't ask me for stories of my own experiences or you may get them and wish you hadn't.

The National Health Service is badly run by overpaid bureaucrats and is instrumental in a massive population cull!

Necrotizing fasciitis with your dinner, sir?

Gordon Brown backs free healthcare for world's poor.

"Gordon Brown has offered to help some of the world's poorest countries to make healthcare free – starting with pregnant women and children – in a push to widen access to doctors across Africa and Asia.

The Department for International Development (DfID) is among the largest donors to many developing countries, and has pledged to spend £6bn on health by 2015. Brown hopes to use an expanding aid budget to influence the way public services are delivered on the ground.

The prime minister has written to several governments, including those of Kenya, Nepal and Liberia, urging them to consider making healthcare free, and offering Britain's help with the transition. DfID said that could mean help with technical assistance, drugs and ensuring that doctors and nurses receive fair pay deals".

Government to spend £6bn on overseas healthcare by 2015 - GORDON BROWN BEING GENEROUS WITH YOUR MONEY!

Which is good and fine and dandy if we were getting great free healthcare... but.. on the other hand.....
"Patients forced to live in agony after NHS refuses to pay for painkilling injections"...

The very unaptly named "NICE" - "Specialists fear tens of thousands of people, mainly the elderly and frail, will be left to suffer excruciating levels of pain or pay as much as £500 each for private treatment.

The NHS currently issues more than 60,000 treatments of steroid injections every year. NICE said in its guidance it wants to cut this to just 3,000 treatments a year, a move which would save the NHS £33 million".

The money has been diverted to the poor in third world countries to help all those women have more babies, so fuck you old people who are suffering! (sorry, this makes me very angry, I have a personal reason for being so.... my mum suffered terrible pain before she died from M.E. and got very little help for pain relief).

I have a query about GP's

Can a GP refuse to treat someone for severe headaches and irritable bowel syndrome because they are overweight? Not vastly overweight, just chubby.... this person hardly ever goes to the Docs normally....

Having not been to a UK doctor in over 5 years, I don't know anymore.

Doctors here in Spain are still human beings and treat their patients with care and respect.

Perth Royal Infirmary's involuntary euthanasia programme.

An investigation has been launched after the family of an elderly stroke victim claimed hospital doctors tried to end his life.

John MacGillivray, 78, from Auchterarder, was admitted to Perth Royal Infirmary having suffered a stroke on May 22.

Two days later, his family were told by hospital doctors he would die within hours. His daughter Patricia MacGillivray told Sky News: "It was to our shock, we just couldn't believe it. "When he was admitted to the hospital on the Friday he was still able to move around and feed himself and suddenly here we all were being told 50% of his brain was dead and he was definitely going to die that Sunday night and to prepare ourselves to say our goodbyes.

Poor Mr John MacGillivray

"There were several issues we already had with the level of care he had received in the short while he had been in the hospital, so we started to become suspicious. "That's when we started asking about his medication. "It was then we learned that the medication we had been told he was going to receive when he was first admitted, which was specifically for stroke, had been changed to medication for treating seizures which we'd never seen him have. "The effect of that medication was to sedate him."

The MacGillivray family instructed doctors to immediately withdraw all medication and launched a round-the-clock bedside watch. Within two days, Ms MacGillivray says her father had made such a good recovery he was being recommended for stroke rehabilitation treatment and four weeks later he was back home walking around his garden in Auchterarder (lovely name).

Mmmm. Not good NHS! I have some horror stories myself about a certain hospital between Luton and Dunstable along the same lines.......(yes, things I actually witnessed). Is it common procedure just to sedate elderly patients?

Abortion Haven

The National Health System is being abused (no shit)... by abortion seekers apparently. This story from "The Sun" http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/woman/health/health/article2037352.ece

"TEN thousand Polish women came to Britain for NHS abortions last year. The practice has cost the service a total of more than £10MILLION. Terminations are illegal in Poland, so the women find temporary work here to get a National Insurance number, register with a GP then have the op or an abortion pill".

You can bet your life its not only the Polish that are doing it! No wonder we have no money to give dying people the drugs they need. I do not deny a womans right to control over her own body but the NHS needs to charge for abortions when someone has not paid into the system for a certain period of time.
