Martin Horwood Liberal Democrat MP for Cheltenham....

.....doesn't believe in democracy!

This is Martin Horwood

Married to a GP (who is also on a mega salary being the Director of Public Health in Gloucester) and attended Oxford, Another rich champagne socialist. Another rich Limp Dim who doesn't think that YOU the electorate are worthy to be given a choice as to where your tax money goes.

He supports "Tribal Peoples" and their right to be treated equally and democratically but he doesn't think that his own countrymen should have those same rights. Typically, not only is he a Europhile but an advocate of climate change.

He is the party spokesman on International Affairs so I guess he has his position, salary and gold plated pension to think about before he does his job!

This is what he thinks of his constituents who would rather leave the EU.

"HARDLINE Tory eurosceptics are the political equivalent of Asbo yobs, according to Cheltenham's Lib Dem MP Martin Horwood.

In a scathing attack on the Conservative right at his party's conference in Birmingham, Mr Horwood compared them with farcical characters from a Monty Python film and argued they needed to be politically "isolated".....

...... He branded them "the political equivalent of antisocial behaviour people".

And he compared the divisions within this group with those ridiculed in the 1979 British comedy film Life of Brian, where the People's Front of Judea harangue 'rivals' including the Judean People's Front, and the Judean Popular People's Front, to cries of 'splitters'.....

...."We have to isolate that tendency politically," he told the audience of Lib Dem activists.

See what he thinks? He thinks the people of Cheltenham who would like to leave the EU should be given asbo's and that they should be isolated from the rest of the population. He compares you to farcical Monty Python characters and thinks you're anti-social.

What a nasty piece of work Mr Horwood is. When the time comes for a local election, the good people of Cheltenham know what they must do.

WTF?

"47 per cent jump in our spending on overseas aid, due to rise from £7.8 billion to £11.5 billion. This includes, for instance, a further rise in the £800 million a year we already donate to India, one of the world’s fastest growing economies. This will be spent, inter alia, on promoting gender equality, assisting the Indians with their space programme, and of course on climate change (such as the £10 million free gift the Department For International Development is making to Dr Rajendra Pachauri’s Teri research institute).

This includes, however, only a part of the £2.9 billion that will be spent, along with the Department for Energy and Climate Change (DECC), as part of an EU scheme “to help developing countries pursue low-carbon growth and adapt to climate change”, which is a hefty part of the 27 per cent rise in the DECC budget over the next four years. A good case could be made that almost all spending on overseas aid and climate change is money chucked down the drain. (My favourite politically correct DFID project was building a Ferris wheel for the female inhabitants of the Afghan town of Lashkar Gah.)"

"Great swathes of Britain's forests are to be privatised, it emerged last night.

Caroline Spelman, the Environment Secretary, will give the go-ahead to sell half of the 1.85m woodland acres run by the Forestry Commission.

It is thought the plan, which is likely to anger conservationists, will pave the way for many more golf courses, adventure playgrounds, and Centre Parcs-style resorts. Laws dating back to Magna Carta are likely to be rewritten to allow the woodland sale.

(are they allowed to do that?????)....

The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) suffered one of the worst settlements in the spending review, losing a third of its £2.9bn budget.

Ms Spelman has made clear her intention to act radically to attempt to make up the shortfall. A third of the land is expected to be disposed of before 2015. The remainder will be sold or given to community groups by 2020"

So, while we are paying green taxes to help the fucking world and his brother go to space, promote equality in India (I didn't know they had problems with it) and fund bogus climate change charlatans.... our beloved government is selling off huge areas of our ancient forests for golf courses, holiday camps and probably housing for those extra half a million immigrants we will be getting from East Europe soon......
