EU, the ultimate statist thieves

The Fourth Reich is born 16th August 2011

A 'True European Economic Government'

There would also be attempts to improve cross-border economic governance in what Sarkozy described as a "true European economic government," to be led by Herman Van Rompuy, current president of the European Council, for a two-and-a-half-year term. Leaders of the euro-zone states would meet twice a year and perhaps more often to discuss harmonization of finance and economic policy. Source

IT IS NOW CRITICAL THAT WE LEAVE THE EU OR WE WILL EVENTUALLY BE SWALLOWED UP INTO THE FOURTH REICH.

HEIL!

  2. I'll be sorley torn between watching Rumpoys corpse swinging from a lampost or Ashtons, just down the road.

  3. This is a bad, bad day.

How many of us said this was coming and how many listened?

Crucially, how many will react and do the needful?

    CR.

  4. Don't they understand what they are attempting to create?
Or do the understand only too well and hope to profit from it?

Oh, I don't know about that - I would want to see both corpses, plus Cameron's!

Too late... I'm afraid, this is going to be the BIG one.

  7. I don't think the implications of yesterday have sunk in with the masses of Europe yet. When it does, I can't imagine they're going to be pleased.

Dark days ahead my friends, we have a war to win!

  8. Actually, there is more than a ray of hope in all of this, and I do believe you all missed the crucial announcement when it was made in Germany. The crucial bit of news was when Germany announced that it would be phasing out nuclear power.

The bit to take notice of here is not the gibberingly stupid statement, but the reason FOR such a statement to be made. Germany is ruled by a coalition of several parties, and their collective stance on the Euro and bailing out countries such as Greece and Italy is not one collective, united front. Instead different parties hold different views, and some are not at all happy about the idea at all.

These dissenting minor partners forced the main coalition to make a Faustian pact with the Greens for votes, the price of which was to renounce nuclear power. This renunciation effectively spells doom for Germany, since it is a manufacturing-based economy and manufacturing requires lots and lots of reliable power. Wind, tide and solar power aren't prolific and aren't reliable. Massive coal-fired power will cause the Greens to rebel, so Germany is effectively snookered now, and they knew this before dealing with the eco-wibble brigade.

What you're looking at is a Government with its back to a cliff edge, desperately trying to look strong to keep the wolves from closing in. It won't ultimately succeed; any one of several factors will make the German people rebel, and indeed a lot are rebelling even now.

In short, the Fourth Reich is doomed before it is even properly up and walking. The major player in it, the only one with money in the game, is on the verge of walking away from it, and the rag-tag assortment of beggars, thieves and scum who make up the rest are incapable of financing the thing. The Euro currency is doomed, and so is the Fourth Reich.

All we have to do is keep our own leaders from cocking things up even more than they are now.

  9. Interesting comment Dan. My German friends were discussing this earlier this week and yes, there is great concern amongst the thinking German communities about the non-nuclear decision.

  10. Dan, I hope you're right. I wouldn't keep my fingers crossed with the dullards running our country, to do the right thing. They are so out of touch with reality, it's quite frightening.

I think this eco-madness is going to bankrupt many countries. Being eco friendly is a lovely concept but the technology is not up to scratch as yet. Presumably, we're looking at manufacturing costs in Germany going up if the eco-tribe get their way? This in turn will damage exports and jobs.

It's the sheer voracity of the Eurocrats in their Eutopian dream that continues to make me see red. It's at any cost, despite what Europeans want. It's madness, sheer lunacy to continue with a project that has become so unpopular. If anything can kill this monster, the people of Europe can. We've all been very patient. That time has passed.
