EU Referendum Campaign Party Poll 30 March 2011

Tory Voters Tell Cameron ‘we want a referendum’

A new ComRes poll for the EU Referendum Campaign, published today, shows that a large majority of Conservative and Liberal Democrat voters want their parties to commit to a referendum on continued EU membership.

In a week that has seen controversy over the UK’s exposure to a bailout of the Portuguese economy, the poll also found that fully two-thirds of the public oppose Britain contributing financially to it.

James Pryor, Chief Executive of the EU Referendum Campaign, said “Again, our polls show the disconnect between the politicians and the people. Both David Cameron and Nick Clegg should seriously consider asking their own parties how they feel on an in/out referendum. I am not sure whether it is sheer arrogance or just plain stupidity to ignore the wishes of their own supporters. What are they afraid of?”

Andrew Hawkins, Chairman of ComRes, said “The EU undoubtedly has a major image problem. Fewer than one in three people feel Britain gets a good deal from being a member of the EU and almost half regard the EU as ‘fundamentally undemocratic’. These are problems that, unless addressed, will be left to fester in the minds of the electorate.”

Nigel Farage UKIP

Wishful thinking!

This made me laugh in The Evening Standard. It's an order from our Führers in the EU DICTATORSHIP.

"Petrol and diesel-powered cars should be banned from London's streets by 2050, the European Commission said today". Not only London of course, but all European Cities.

Whatever makes them think they will last until 2050? The way things are going, they'll be lucky if they survive another year!

Nigel Farage on Libya - Russia Today

I know a few people have already posted this but let's face it, UKIP NEEDS SOME PUBLICITY! Why aren't they moving their arses?

With the exception of these 13 MP's, the rest voted for action on Libya.

The Freeman and Strawman Explained

For those of us who are still trying to get to grips with Lawful Rebellion, here is an excellent video explaining the very basic stuff.

Leviathan is here, in Brussels

Brussels is the lair of a bureaucratic monster, writes the German essayist Hans Magnus Enzensberger. It’s up to the Europeans themselves now to take up their pitchforks.

"While the people of the Arab world are rising up and calling for self-determination and democracy, Europe is sinking into despotism. Its democratic traditions are being eroded and destroyed, its citizens harassed and patronised".

"Enzensberger’s core thesis focuses on the precariousness of democracy as we understand it in the Union, which in the intoxication of rule-mongering is showing increasingly authoritarian tendencies. Together with Robert Menasse, Enzensberger concludes with posing the question of whether the traditional understanding of democracy is something Brussels remains committed to, or whether democracy is not seen rather as an obstacle that Brussels will work assiduously towards shifting aside. The European Union is on the way to disenfranchising its citizens. Only we Europeans can stop them".

Read the rest of the article, it's a calm analysis of the truth about the EU DICTATORSHIP.
