ReplyDeleteI think Swiss voters would have drawn international condemnation, from governments and sheep worldwide at least, for simply daring to defy a government recommendation.
Fair play to the Swiss government though, they actual listen to and take orders from their employers. Such a rarity these days.
And they're not even in the EU...

Good for Switzerland but "...under international law refugees cannot be sent back to their country of origin if they face persecution there".
ReplyDeleteSo they'll probably take them to the nearest border and shove them into whichever EU neighbour is there and then those criminals will have the run of the entire EU. Great.
