Does anybody actually read The Express? Totally with you on the anti-bureaucracy thing but I actually work in UK /Europe, have done for 20 years and some of the business aspects are very much better since the EU.I really can't see how leaving will help UK manufacturing industry but always open to suggestions.
Sorry for the excessive use of actually. The second one is a typo. I forgot to add that I don't like the federalist thing either. Just the free trade and movement. I find it helps a lot.
Anony @04:24 I voted to stay in the EU some decades ago because I fell for Heaths lies that it was just about free trade and movement of people and not a proto-superstate run by self selected quangocrats.
I am entirely pro-European but vehemently anti-EUSSR, it won't reform itself so out is the only way forward.
Europe? Long live the International Arrest Warrant! Long live multicult! We need 1.000.000's more immigrants! No national borders! No more boring old elections! No more money! Austerity is GOOD for you! FOR GOD'S SAKE GET HOLD OF NESTA WEBSTER'S BOOK "THE SURRENDER OF AN EMPIRE" AND READ AND REREAD IT!
The empire you are surrendering is your right to rule yourself: to rule your own body, to think, to have a soul ...
This is great news, lets hope some of the other newspapers follow suit.
ReplyDeleteOnce we have the popular media on our side, we can't lose.
ReplyDeleteLovely job, Sue.
ReplyDeleteI've linked.
Hallelujah indeed!
Roll on an EU free Christmas!
ReplyDeleteHoo. Bloody. Ray.
ReplyDeleteNice work, Sue. The first crack in the dam?
Now linked.
ReplyDeleteLet's not count our chickens.. long way to go yet!

Anon. I agree. I live and work in Spain. I love Europe but I don't want to be part of the EU totalitarian monster.
ReplyDeleteThere has to be a happy medium whereby we trade amicably with the rest of Europe without losing our Sovereignty.
By the way, if we left the EU, I would come back to the UK, providing the government clear the decks of all statutes that have been unfairly imposed.
