The time in the UK is 18:40 and the Sky News Debt counter started at 7am this morning. It has now reached £200,004,782, it's incrementing at a rate of £4,800 a second. Good for Sky! I have written them a quick email showing my appreciation.

Gordon is going to start taxing zeroes at this rate. Use more than one 0 and you get pay 200% tax on the leading digits. (plus VAT at 19.5%) Use more than 2 Zs and the rate increases to 400%.
