EU, the ultimate statist thieves

One law for us, one for them!

Our Nazi Government now allows bailiffs for private firms to forcefully enter our homes and restrain us if necessary in order to collect outstanding debts! I don't agree with extension of power but some people would argue that debts just have to be paid.

The trouble with giving private companies these sorts of powers is they tend to abuse them. Just as wheel clamping was abused, this will be abused but the consequences are far more serious than simply having to pay extortionate fines to get your car back.

I was incensed to read of the death of Mr Andy Miller. Mr Miller had been in hospital after suffering a heart attack and then he was in a coma before being allowed home Christmas Eve. A magistrate had granted the order for collection despite being warned by Mr Millers' sons that he had been seriously ill. The fine was a £60 speeding fine, bumped up to a ridiculous £330 with added administration costs.

The bailiffs drove him into town to find a cash point which would dispense the amount that they demanded. He collapsed during the ordeal and died.

The taxpayer (I'm sure non of you gave permission), has been forced to write off a £2.5 billion debt that is owed by Russian businessman Leonid Blavatnik to the RBS. This oligarth owns a property in Kensington worth £41 million.

NOW I AM CONFUSED, WHY WEREN'T THE BAILIFFS FORCING ENTRY INTO HIS HOME TO RECOVER WHAT HE OWED?

  1. Well, I guess they'll be finding soon that the amount of unpaid debt rises so much that bailiffs really are truly overworked.

Maybe this will help the job market. The government can take on more bailiffs.

Of course, to do so, it will have to increae public spending. By raising taxes.

Who exactly is going to pay the raised taxes with 4 million unemployed, God knows. But still.

  2. I'm angry that ordinary people get what little they have taken away whilst the super rich are obviously immune. I'm thankful I live here but I can't help feeling like my country is being ransacked by an immoral bunch of nutters!
