I sympathise with the sentiment but since UKIP seems likely to benefit under AV I'd say that voting yes is the best hope, albeit still quite small, of belatedly getting the referendum that the big three all promised. There's a chance but UKIP or other euro-sceptic parties need to be a bigger influence in Westminster, and that's not flat going to happen under FPTP. Defacing the paper that way will be satisfying, but that's about it.
Funny thing is... that's exactly what I was going to do with my ballot paper.

ReplyDeleteThe spoilt ballot paper gets counted three or four times just to be sure it's spoilt!That's what I am going to do,I do not trust any politician.
