I think politicians are missing a trick about the EU Referendum. It's time it was debated openly and all the pros and cons discussed - especially the fact that the UK seems to adhere to every ruling like glue when other countries adjust rulings to suit their needs.

ReplyDeleteBut SR you know as well as I do they will not discuss it because the benefits are obvious - or so they say!
ReplyDeleteIt is about time an official cost/benefit analysis was done!
We need to give the public a referendum. It's the only way to prove that we are still a democracy.
ReplyDeleteCameron can't go round the world preaching freedom and democracy when we don't live in one ourselves.
He can't ignore us forever. People are more and more pissed off with the EU and it's stupid rules and greed!
"because the benefits are obvious "
ReplyDeleteTo the MEPs and ruling elite, they are.
95.9% want a referendum..... that's exactly why we won't get one without a fight!
ReplyDeleteThats the problem Sue,we are not a democracy. We live in a one party state with three different wings to it.
ReplyDeleteI was one of those fools who thought CMD was going to be a good, if not great PM, sadly he's not. He's just a self-server who talks a good game.
ReplyDeleteAnd the remaining 4.1% are either EU staff, traitors or both.
ReplyDeleteWell, we are going to get our country back.
ReplyDeleteI'll fight the EU till the day I die.
