The Offence Test.

"The Offense Test is very simple. If another driver on the highway flashes me the middle finger, it is generally accepted that he is a jackass. If I try to kill him in response, it is generally accepted that I am unfit for civil society and should be locked up".......

"For Muslims, the Offense Test will serve to determine, whether they can live outside the Muslim world. For now, they are failing the test, and failing it badly. Muslim immigration has not spread tolerance, but intolerance, not love but fear, and not knowledge, but ignorance. It is up to Muslims themselves to reverse that trend, by either passing the Offense Test and proving that they can tolerate being offended by the variety of views and images in a multicultural society, or disengaging from a non-Muslim world whose freedoms and perspectives they cannot learn to tolerate. The choice is simple enough, and the choice is theirs"

  1. Good call!

It's like a far more relevant and up-to-date version of the 'cricket test'.

  3. Ta for the link, very brave stuff, especially for Canada

"Tolerance means that we tolerate the offensive, not that we have it cleared away from us by the censorship of the state or the violence or the mob"
"when sensitivity is motivated by a fear of violence, then it is no longer an act of empathy, but of cowardice."

Quite so, Muslims need to man-up.

  4. I think it just about reflects how most people in the West feel.

As I've said before, "most" migrants integrate, get jobs and just want the best for their families are we all do but we cannot have one group who are constantly causing trouble and rocking the boat for the rest of us.

Life is hard enough as it is!

  5. A damn good read - thanks for the link. I hope this reaches the apologists for 'the religion of peace'.

Or should that be 'the disease which threatens the world'?

  6. I'm glad you all enjoyed it. I think it pretty much says what we all feel very eloquently.

  7. Imagine living inside their heads.

  9. ITTTM living inside the head of a perpetually-offended Muslim. Imagine having a world-view so limited that this kind of crap is all you can think about. I suppose if you reject things like Beethoven, Picasso and bacon rolls as against your religion, life must be pretty bleak. Being offended by something is probably a welcome distraction

  10. The offence felt by some of our Muslim cousins is purely arbitrary; they can be offended one minute at some small thing like the thought of the Crusades 800 years ago, be outraged that your brothers who are killing other muslims in your 'home' country are being targeted by western forces, be apoplectic that a woman uncovers her hair in public. But when the hand-outs come round, they can bravely manage to put those feelings away for a while.

  11. If they got off their arses and got jobs, they would have more important things to whinge about.
