2. The Conservatives will win this one to make it look as though they're still on the Nations side.

This was in the EUObserver last week (I think) it's largely a negotiating position to try to get the large budget hikes they want.
ReplyDeleteShould any tax come in though, and I have no doubt it's an EU desire, then - depending on how it's implemented - I won't be paying it.
It's all going one way. Presidents, EU ambassadors, an EU army, EU taxation - the superstate is only just round the corner.
