Irony....

Taxpayers will have to pay £250,000 to protect Tony Blair at the Iraq Enquiry.

A WAR HE STARTED AND CONTINUED ILLEGALLY, AGAINST THE MAJORITY OF THE ELECTORATES' WISHES, THAT HAS KILLED HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE AND COST THE BRITISH TAXPAYER BILLIONS ALREADY!

How much did he rake in last year £12billion?

What is going on?

Why doesn't he pay his own security bill?

  1. The police are considering the 'kettling' system they used at the G20 to control the protesters who will be outside the building.

Agree he should pay his own protection but of course that will never happen. How much a year is it he costs us in protection? I think I read £3m somewhere Sue.

  4. On the plus side though, his holiday plans are looking more restricted by the day. As the Israelis (and Pinochet amongst others) have found out to their cost, visiting countries which allow arrest warrants to be issued for international crimes, real or trumped up, can get tricky.

At least letter-box gob can bail him out when he needs a lawyer.

  5. How to persuade the Hague Court to issue a warrent for his arrest on a charge of 'crimes against humanity' - any ideas?
