Lest We Forget

  1. All eyes will be on Wooton Basset today, Y do hope that the politicians leave them alone.

  2. I want the politicians there so that they can be soundly ignored by people. No need for boos or hisses, just silently ignore them or turn away from them.

  4. I wouldn't be surprised if some politicians suddenly 'find the time' to turn up in future. They must surely realise by now that the public *do* support our Armed Forces but not the govt's defence budget. Today's Times said Ainsworth was the best person to get the British people onside re the Armed Forces which to me is just ar*se over tit. How many times must bloggers and others scream: 'this government doesn't get it'?

  5. Gordon Brown never shows up, as he is far to busy saving the World.

  6. Ainsworth is clueless and Brown knows he would get booed!!!

The Government needs to realise that much of the support for our troops has grown as a consequence of what happened in Luton. Secondly, it´s coupled with a message to the Government, that if these sort of losses are to occur as a consequence of inferior equipment, it is entirely unacceptable!!!

  7. I figure the public knows the armed forces put themselves between it and harm and are grateful.

Apart from a few low lives they can tell the difference between the armed forces and what the politicians get them into.

They want them to have the best tools for the job.

  8. Labour hates the the armed forces, just as it hates this country, just the same as they despise us all.
That is why they can, without compunction send troops off to die in futile wars in the name of Communist internationalism without the proper backup and why they are relentlessly replacing the indigenous people of Britain with alien hordes from all over the globe.
I hate Labour with a passion and everything they represent.
