Live Traffic Feed.

I installed Live Traffic Feed on my blogs this morning. I was curious to see if anyone else in Spain read my blog. I've taken it off again. It made me feel like I was spying on people. It made me feel uncomfortable. I don't moderate or insist on an identity on my blogs and I certainly believe in the freedom to surf anonymously.

Here's a thought.... all those that have these collating "widgets" may be assisting the ISP's/government in their collection of data...ouch...

Nuff said!

  1. OOH! You are suspicious!

No, to be honest, I simply like to know if a post I do is linked somewhere.

  2. I am very suspicious. Not of fellow conspirators/bloggers, but of governments... :)

  3. I wooldn't worry too much about assisting the Guv. All that data is available anyway via the way the Internet is constructed. What we see via the widgets isn't always what it seems to be.

I agree with you though on a personal level. It could be a bit like stalking?
Hadn't really thought about that until today.
