The Abhorrence of Labour

I was just quietly persuing the Labour Matters Party site and something immediately jumped out at me. First impressions are most important in these things especially with the electorate (of which I am one even though I live here in Spain). Compare it to the Conservative Home Party site

Do you see how derogatory NuLabour are? They have a "press here" button above Camerons head, which results in some childish attempt at humour.

Its all very tasteless and I can't stand that sort of immaturity. The only thing I want to say to Labour is
"YOU'VE RUINED MY COUNTRY AND I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU"...I hate you!

  1. It is funny isn't it, how these things work?

It really does seem to be true that when a party is on the up, they're good at this glossy stuff. But when they lose direction, they also lose control of the ability to impress on little things.

I remeber back in 97, believe it or not, I was a Tory activist. And I found the Tory propoganda embarrassing. We were shite. And I envied the Labour Party website. Now look at it. It doesn't even have lists of selected candidates.

  2. Its a pretty sad site to say the least. Its snide, petty and mean which is not what politics is about. If the Conservatives want to win respect and votes, they need to rise above this level and behave like grownups.
