Is the fact that everyone is hoping Ireland will say no and thus kill the treaty or that the Czechs postpone ratification so we can have our say.
All because the whole damn world knows that we will say NO..
If they all know we will say NO and they are forcing us into something we don't want to be part of, that's criminal.
It's not democratic and it violates our rights as citizens of the United Kingdom.
I'm so angry...
WE SHOULD HAVE A REFERENDUM REGARDLESS OF WHAT HAPPENS!
WE HAVE RIGHTS!
THIS IS OUR COUNTRY, NOT THE POLITICIANS, NOT THE EU'S,
OURS!!! AND NO, MEANS NO!
And we will say no, and this petrifies them, which is why they'll never ever allow a referendum again.
ReplyDeleteDon't think the Tories will be any different either, Cameron must be bricking himself at all these delays as he'll be forced to keep his word.
Better off voting independent in the general election as they're pretty much all the same, weasel words, vague promises, but ignoring the wishes of the majority in a take it or leave it package.
The only choice we have is to vote candidates in that don't represent the three major parties or others like the BNP.
ReplyDeleteWe need a new system to self govern. This system has grown beyond what it was meant to... and it no longer represents the wishes of the people.
Hague wouldn't give a straight answer during an hour-long interview where he was pressed for a proper reply to the question of the Tories' intentions on a referendum. Instead he continually spouted the usual legalistic jargon that will let them off the hook once they're elected.
