Illegal Immigration in the UK.

An estimated 450,000 failed asylum seekers in Britain are currently denied free treatment on the NHS. That's almost half a million FAILED ASYLUM SEEKERS that are in our country! Why have they not been deported?

With health charities claiming that the NHS faced the most challenging financial period in its 60-year history, ministers were last night accused of “jamming the door open for illegal immigrants”. The NHS is already overstretched and the on the verge of collapse.

A joint review of the policy by the Department of Health and the Home Office ruled that up to 20,000 would now be allowed free health care, including children and those who would “otherwise be destitute”, or could not return home “through no fault of their own”.

Migrationwatch, the pressure group, said that over time, as many as a million foreigners could take advantage of the rethink.

Sir Andrew Green, chairman of Migrationwatch, said: “No wonder they are queuing up in Calais. These proposals amount to jamming open the door for illegal immigrants to access the National Health Service.”

He said the Government “dithered” about the issue for years and chose “almost the last day of Parliament to announce their surrender to the immigration lobby”.

They're not only queuing in Calais, they're attacking British holidaymakers in terrifying 'highway robberies'. Would-be illegal immigrants are forming human roadblocks to force motorists passing through the French port town to stop. Travellers are then robbed at knifepoint by the migrants, who are desperate for funds to help them sneak into the UK.

But then again, Britons are always the last people that this government gives a toss about.

Last night police in Calais issued a warning to the nine million Britons a year who pass through Calais - the equivalent of 25,000 every day.

They urged motorists to keep their windows closed and doors locked until they are safely inside the ferry terminal.

Officers said they had received several reports from holidaymakers of having to 'run a gauntlet' of migrants between the town and the ferry port.One British couple reported being forced to stop by bedraggled refugees on the port approach road last week.

French politicians have blamed Britain for the return of migrant camps to Calais. The mayor of Calais, Natacha Bouchart, said the lure of the UK's 'enormous' state handouts to asylum-seekers was the reason why thousands of foreigners are using the French port as a staging point to get across the Channel.

Indeed!

I do hope the Conservatives will put an end to this farce when they are in power. Charity is all well and good when there is an abundance of resources, but we are unable to fund the existing NHS!

There is NO EXTRA MONEY IN THE POT! Thanks to the Labour Government's mishandling of finances.

Then again, immigration is a subject even the Conservatives refuse to discuss.... expect to see the BNP membership grow if this complacency continues.
