Every man should have the right to make his own way in life for himself and his family; nudging and the 'nanny state' have no place in any democratic country. Lawful Rebellion isn't against capitalism; it's against tptb that are perverting capitalism.
Look around at other independent bloggers and see how many new laws our Coalition introduced in their first year of government.

..and they're growing everyday. The EU introduces additional legislation and instruments daily. We need to bin the whole bloody lot.
ReplyDeleteSue, I agree totally with your stance on the hated EU.
ReplyDeleteAbout the film: I perservered with it right to the end because I wanted to learn something and I did in fact learn a couple of things (US history and banking) which I did not know before, but the general effect was ruined by the loud and inappropriate background 'music' (One very annoying example of this is where Ron Paul speaks.) and by the frequent snippets of advocacy (apparently the makers believe that we must combat global warming).
I would not advise others to bother wasting time on this film.
@ Anon: You advise others not to watch yet you say you learned a few things. Nothing is perfect, particularly in this world of independent social media. We all have to make do with the resources we have and sometimes it's worth putting up with a little difficulty in order to get the broader message.
