I inherited them when my poor sweet mum died. Anyhow, I think they're just marvellous, I love old photos, especially as they are of my family. Here's a couple of school photos of my Opa (grandfather) and Oma (grandmother) from the early 1900's. I'm half German, as if you didn't guess :)
My granny is in the second row from the bottom on the far right with the blonde hair.
My grandfather is in the front row, third from the right.

ReplyDeleteIt's either I'm getting old and nostalgic or yearning for simpler times. I guess that's why Spain appeals, especially insulated in this town in the mountains. The UK gives me stress!
ReplyDeleteMy mum passed away just before Christmas and she originally came from East Prussia, I cant get any photos of my relatives because the Russians torched the family house,you're a very lucky lady.
